After a period of silence, Opera release a new version which has a completely new interface, contains nearly all popular, common widgets, functionalities. It more like a personal center or clouding center now. No like the Google’s simplify style, Opera seems to collects all components together, If we only have a Netbook to use, maybe Opera is a very good choice. There more and more widget stores and app stores comes out for both mobile hand sets,browsers. This situation is likely to tell us we no longer need desktop softwares ?

An unbelievable fact is the patent holder of social networking is Linkedin, not the Facebook, Twitter etc.. nearly all the social media websites want to simulate the reality through some small functionalities, like the Mood, Profile, Group. It triggers my interests on finding out how to simulate a real people using non-living modules.
In the early application, When we create an account, In fact, it only finished one procedure – insert a record into database. It’s to hard to distinguish different users in it. The difference between the role and user is : the roles owns many properties. such as mood, friends,or even their social group. Users in social media is not a static data entity there, It’s activated. we know her/his Moods now and the Activities they took part in, the Disposition they own, a virtual person is made up of many small functionalities. the Recommend friends is a way to simulate the random in our life, They might be the people around our physical position or a friend of my existed friends. all that is only to make it like our real society more.

An widely discussion is whether the HTML5 can instead of Flash or Silverlight now.
I haven’t use Flash and Silverlight for many years due to its bad feature of the cross-platform performance. people paid excessive attentions to the expression of applications, but omitted another point that application is a information carrier, information carried by an application or an entity on Internet is the most valuable thing. specially for the semantic web in future. HTML5 will be the last winner not because it’s a recommended standard of W3C, but a technology allows the web can parse by computer.

Some abnormalities occurred in my Computer recently, which makes me anxious that if some new viruses is hiding somewhere. I checked up the opened ports and found a suspicious record :

The 1e100.net is a forbidden domain , then Google it, get some information:
Google had enabled a new domain (1e100.net) during the period of October last year. 1e100 means 1 follows with a hundred zero, was considered as googol where the word of Google evolved from, Google said they use the 1e100 as a mark using by their new platform.
Another useful information about Google are:
- Google is testing a new search engine – Caffeine.
- Google has upgraded their file system to a new version.
